The event honored the social and academic contributions of the great Muslim reformer and founder of Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI), Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi (1830-1895), while also highlighting his connection with Türkiye during the Ottoman Empire.
In his welcome address, Mr. Cemal Sangu, Consul General of Türkiye in Karachi, traced the historic relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye, emphasizing their deep-rooted ties.
